The independent fire protection unit Barriere (EI 30 a<->b) independently meets the fire‑resistance requirements according to EN 13501‑2, both for fire exposure from below to above and vice versa. It protects service installations in the ceiling void and ensures sufficiently long usability of the escape route below in the event of a fire.
